Image optimization: This includes optimizations to color, brightness, and contrast. Digital images can also be specifically tuned to the printing process and chosen substrate. For oversized prints, image grain and sharpness can be adjusted.

Digital Image Cleaning: Consists of dusting an image after scanning or cleaning areas of a digital image that contain traces of oil on the sensor, for example. 

Modification of individual elements within an image:  Parts of an image can be moved, erased, and/or change scale. Images can also be superimposed or stitched.
